Il giorno 16 gennaio 2019, presso il C.O.N.I. si sono svolti gli Stati Generali dello Sport con i Sottosegretario Giorgetti e Valente.


Si è così espresso il Presidente FIDASC Felice Aniello Buglione:
“Al termine del 2017 sono stati organizzati altri Stati Generali, nel corso dei quali vennero portati alla luce i problemi del nostro movimento. Ora se ne organizzano altri per parlare invece della legge. Sono ottimista perché sembra, da quel che è emerso, che i problemi dello sport li voglia risolvere la politica. Il discorso è: lo vogliono fare da soli o no?”


Il Sottosegretario alla Presidenza del Consiglio Giancarlo Giorgetti garantisce
"nessuna intrusione della politica e collaborazione nella fase attuativa" mentre Il Presidente del CONI Giovanni Malagò incoraggia il disgelo tra il movimento sportivo e il Governo dichiarando: "Non ero ottimista sulla riforma, oggi lo sono"
