Lo Sporting, chiamato pure Percorso di Caccia itinerante è una particolare disciplina sportiva di tiro a volo che si diversifica dal Percorso di Caccia in pedana, altrimenti definito Compak. La caratteristica principale dello Sporting consiste nell’essere un’attività tiravolistica “di movimento”. Da una piazzola all’altra, cambiando continuamente scenari, bersagli e traiettorie. Ad ogni postazione, infatti, corrispondono macchine che lanciano i piattelli con velocità e traiettorie molto diverse tra loro e ogni piazzola viene contraddistinta dal nome di un selvatico: lepre, colombaccio, fagiano, cedrone, tordo, ecc...
